The Rizzo family at Café Roma has over 45 years of experience in managing successful dining events. Our professional staff specializes in coordinating wedding rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, business meetings, conference events, and more.

For groups of 2 to 100, Café Roma has a variety of event spaces to choose from. The restaurant is available for buyouts Sunday through Thursday for groups as large as 150, such as wedding celebrations, memorial receptions, and fundraisers.

Our Spaces

    Deruta Banquet Room

    The Deruta room is one of San Luis Obispo’s premier event spaces for small to medium sized events. The room is private, located on the restaurant's ground floor with a separate foyer.

    Events in the Deruta room are offered discounted wine and the option of a private bar. Your professional staff is designated to your event only. This is an ideal space to conduct a presentation. It is also fit for passed appetizers, buffet lunch or dinner service, and plated meals.

    Garden Patio

    The garden patio is covered all around with an awning and sunshades, protecting the space from outdoor elements. Overhead heaters keep the event space warm in case of cooler temperatures.

    The festive atmosphere makes it ideal for celebrations like company parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, graduation parties, and birthdays. Parties up to 50 can be seated together at one long table and may even opt for family-style dining.

    La Sala

    La Sala is located in the back half of the main dining room. The space is separated by custom-built mahogany doors, giving you privacy for your event.

    La Sala is a popular space for continuing education programs, board meetings, private wine tastings, business lunches, and non-profit events.The space may be reserved Monday through Friday for lunch events and Monday or Wednesday for dinner events.
